Neck and shoulder pain is a common problem in the working class.

Prolonged poor posture will speed up the degeneration process of the spine and cause pain.
Causes:

Prolonged poor posture will increase the stress of cervical spine

Overuse of neck muscle

Neck injury

Cervical spine degenerative changes.
Symptoms:

Neck and shoulder stiffness and pain.

Decrease the range of neck movement.

Headache and dizziness.

Neck, shoulder and upper limbs numbness, decrease muscle power and sensation.

Decrease or absence of nerve reflexes.
Prevention:

Maintain a good posture.

Avoid flexing the neck for long time.

Arrange rest regularly and performing neck exercise.
Treatment:
-
Fascial Manipulation, heat therapy, ultrasound, interferential therapy, acupuncture, Traction therapy and spine manipulation can reduce pain.

To perform appropriate neck and stretch exercise when the pain decreases.
