 Neck Pain

  • Neck and shoulder pain is a common problem in the working class.

  • Prolonged poor posture will speed up the degeneration process of the spine and cause pain.

 

 
Causes:
  • Prolonged poor posture will increase the stress of cervical spine

  • Overuse of neck muscle

  • Neck injury

  • Cervical spine degenerative changes.

 

Symptoms:
  • Neck and shoulder stiffness and pain.

  • Decrease the range of neck movement.

  • Headache and dizziness.

  • Neck, shoulder and upper limbs numbness, decrease muscle power and sensation.

  • Decrease or absence of nerve reflexes.

 

Prevention:
  • Maintain a good posture.

  • Avoid flexing the neck for long time.

  • Arrange rest regularly and performing neck exercise.
